As per TRAI regulations, all the operators like BSNL, Airtel, JIO, VI, MTNL, Videocon, etc were introduced a new mechanism to scrub messages with DLT platform (It’s a part of blockchain technology in telecoms in India).\u00a0 So all the users should register their credentials to obtain sender ID (Header) and message templates through any of the portals provided by telecom companies.<\/p>\n
There are two options mainly available there for registration, one is for telemarketing<\/strong> companies (SMS resellers, SMS service providers, etc), the other is for end-users (Entity). If you are an SMS user, you have to opt entity registration procedure through the Principle Entity<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n Documents required for DLT registration<\/strong><\/p>\n 1, PAN card<\/strong> in the name of the organization or for a person<\/p>\n 2, Shop or organization Registration certificate or any\u00a0govt approved documents supporting your business registration (It’s for entity name with your business)<\/p>\n 3, Adharcard, Passport, Voter ID (It’s for entity name with your\u00a0name)<\/p>\n 4, Authorization Documents (It’s not mandatory for all operators)<\/p>\n Once DLT registration successful at DLT platform, you can login in their platform and create your sender ID (Header)<\/p>\n Sender ID or Header Registration\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n You have to choose others<\/strong> in Header type while registering your sender ID. Sender ID should be similar to your business name (Other names will reject from operators).<\/p>\n Eg: Your DLT registered name is ABC Info Systems, your sender ID should be ABCINFO or ABCSYS like that.<\/p>\n Once the header or sender ID approved, you can register your templates on that same platform. Through templates tab. Usual content template registration is used for ordinary messages, never opt for transaction type (It’s for banking messages). You have to choose message tye as service Implicit<\/strong> or service Inferred<\/strong> (It’s for OTP or critical messages) or service Explicit<\/strong> (It for other regular messages other than promotion messages).<\/p>\n You can use {#var#}<\/strong> for variable values like name, date, time, address, phone number etc. Maximum character limit allowed in\u00a0{#var#} is 30 characters<\/strong> including space.
